The French CV tool — in English

Applying for a job in France?
Build the CV French recruiters expect.

A French CV is not a translated resume. CVScore builds your CV around French conventions — one page, the right sections, CEFR language levels — and checks that the actual PDF passes applicant tracking systems.

Free plan · No credit card · Data hosted in the EU (GDPR) · App interface in French

Everything you need to get hired in France.

ATS check on the real PDF

Most checkers analyse extracted text and miss layout problems. CVScore verifies the actual PDF file — the thing the applicant tracking system parses.

Frequently asked questions

What is CVScore?

CVScore is a French resume platform: build a CV that follows French conventions, check that the actual PDF is readable by applicant tracking systems (ATS), tailor it to a specific job offer, and practice interviews. It is built in France, for the French job market, with data hosted in the EU.

Is CVScore in English?

These guide pages are in English, and the app interface is currently in French. If you are applying for jobs in France, that is usually an advantage: your final CV should follow French conventions anyway, and the editor guides you through them.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan lets you create a CV, get a basic ATS readability check on your real PDF and try the writing tools — no credit card required.

How is CVScore different from US resume builders?

US builders output American resumes. French recruiters expect a different document: one page, French section names, education presented the French way, CEFR language levels. CVScore is built around those conventions natively, and its ATS check runs on the actual PDF file, not just extracted text.

Where is my data stored?

In the European Union (hosting in Germany, database in Frankfurt), under GDPR. Deleting your account purges your data.
